Our Artist in Residence program calls on Australian artists to communicate the big healthcare issues we’re tackling. We will use art to inspire conversation, create awareness and engage the community in the critical work of our scientists, clinicians and professors.
Through art, we will translate important scientific discoveries in a language everyone understands. We will bridge the gap between the complex world of research and the community’s experience of healthcare.
Already underway, our program launched with Professor Lisa Jackson-Pulver. Lisa co-created our brand artwork – a series of contemporary Aboriginal works inspired by place, community and partnership. Each is a reflection of everything we stand for.
The artists in residence role is open to artists with an interest in exploring the issues we’re tackling from a new, unexpected perspective. Through the program, we will create a compelling body of work that reflects the significant impact of the partnership.
